The Löffler winery is a third-generation family business. It is located in the heart of the Markgräflerland, directly on the Baden Wine Route. Typical Baden grape varieties such as Gutedel, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc, and Müller-Thurgau grow on 22 hectares of vineyards, as well as international grape varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.
The 22 hectares of vineyards are located on the sunny slopes of Castellberg and Fohrenberg, embedded in the picturesque hilly landscape of the Markgräflerland. The steep slopes of the Castellberg with their impressive dry stone walls are known far beyond the country's borders as a valuable natural and cultural heritage.
Modern cellar technology and careful processing protect the character of the natural aromas and pave the way for the perfect taste: gentle pressing, careful fermentation and the necessary rest time create great wines.
True to this philosophy, the winery produces excellent wines and sparkling wines with a finely balanced bouquet and harmonious acidity year after year. Every year, the winery also wins various awards and over 20 gold medals.
