Champagne Duménil is an independent family business founded in 1874 by Emil-Paul Duménil. Today it is run by Frédérique and Hugues Poret-Duménil, the 5th generation. Both passionate, experienced champagne producers who grew up in winemaking families in Champagne and understand their craft. With respect for nature and care in the wine cellar, they produce champagnes full of character. In 2019, they received the coveted sustainable viticulture award (certification Viticulture Durable).
On their land, which consists of four Premier Cru sites on the Montagne de Reins, they cultivate Pinot Noir, Pinot Menière and Chardonnay, the typical Champagne grapes. The Duménil stem is characterized by finesse, freshness and fruit. The roundness and balance in the mouth is achieved through the assemblage of vintages that have been pressed and stored for at least three years.
